Xiaomi’s RedmiBook laptop will be launched in India on August 3, know everything

The India launch of RedmiBook has been set for August 3. Xiaomi confirmed through a media invite on Tuesday. The company teased the launch of the first Redmi-branded laptop in India a few days back and now the launch date has been confirmed. Xiaomi entered the laptop segment in India last year with the launch of the Mi Notebook range and now the RedmiBook range is also entering the Indian market. The device is likely to be launched with an aggressive price tag and competitive specifications. Xiaomi has already introduced RedmiBook, RedmiBook Air and RedmiBook Pro models in China.

“Last year, Redmi became more of a smartphone brand with a phone-plus strategy. We have launched products that will be part of your phone and your lifestyle, such as power banks, earbuds and smart bands. This year we took a step ahead and forayed into the smart television segment as well. Now we have something very interesting coming. Are you ready to ##SuperStart life with #RedmiBook?” The company said in its invite.

The teaser poster shows a classic design with thick bezels around the display, especially at the bottom and top. While the company has launched multiple RedmiBook models in China, there is no clarity on which model will make its India debut. The Redmi Book series was first introduced in China in 2019 and since then several variants have been launched in the home market. Most recent launch RedmiBook Pro 14 And RedmiBook Pro 15 The laptops include AMD Ryzen and 11th generation Intel Core processors in both versions.

With the launch of the RedmiBook, Xiaomi is also reported to be expanding its Mi Notebook product lineup in the country. More specifically, in India Mi Notebook Pro 14, Mi Notebook Ultra 15.6 laptop is reported to be brought. However, Xiaomi has not made any announcement regarding this yet.
