Gizmochina’s AccordingXPENG has launched several electric car models in its G9 lineup. The G9 lineup is priced between 309,900 Yuan (roughly Rs. 35.45 lakh) to 469,900 Yuan (roughly Rs. 53.72 lakh) in China. Deliveries of the lineup are likely to begin in October.
The report says that XPENG aims to make the G9 a new benchmark for smart EVs. The new powertrain system of the G9 comes with supercharging capabilities. The company reportedly claims that it can provide a driving range of up to 200 km on a five-minute charge. This means that the G9 model can be fully charged in less than 30 minutes. The report suggests that XPENG is rapidly expanding its network of charging stations across China. The G9 lineup electric SUV can get a maximum range of 702 km, while the lowest range is said to be 460 km.
The 4WD Performance 650E and 650X models are equipped with a dual-chamber air suspension system. One of the major highlights of the G9 EV is its autonomous driving system. The model is equipped with industry first full-scenario advanced driver assistance system. It has a 5D-level music system called Xopera.
